Objet
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to govern the contractual relationship between KOALA-SXM and the customer in the context of seasonal rental.
Booking and Confirmation
The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent KOALA-SXM the total amount of the reservation. The reservation will only be considered firm once payment has been received.
Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be notified by letter or e-mail to contact@koala-sxm.com.
If the cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the start of the holiday, the amount will be refunded (less 2% bank charges).
If the cancellation is made between 60 and 30 days before the start of the holiday, 50% of the amount will be refunded (less 2% bank charges).
If cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, KOALA-SXM retains the full amount.
Deposit
A bank imprint is recorded for each reservation and kept for 48 hours after your departure. In the event of damage or theft, the customer will be invoiced for repairs.
Use of the Premises
The customer undertakes to respect the rented premises and their use, as well as the rules of good conduct.
Change of stay
If the dates of your stay change, we will do our best to accommodate you according to availability, without guarantee.
Rates
Prices are per night + 4% local tax.
The balance is payable at the time of booking.
At the time of booking, the customer provides his/her bank details, specifying the name of the credit card, the credit card number, the validity date (the credit card must be valid until the end date of the stay) and the cryptogram.
The customer authorizes his credit card to be debited, in order to guarantee payment of sums corresponding to damage or theft during the stay.
Arrival and departure
Accommodation is available from 5:00 pm and must be vacated by 11:00 am.
Capacity
Reservations are made for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds this number, KOALA-SXM is entitled to refuse additional guests.
Animals
- No pets : We would like to inform our guests that the presence of pets or any other animals is strictly forbidden in our holiday rental. This applies to the entire property, including interior spaces, gardens, terraces and parking areas.
- Exceptions for Service Animals : The only exception to this rule concerns service animals, such as guide dogs for the visually impaired or other certified service animals. These animals are welcome to accompany their owners, subject to presentation of appropriate documentation justifying the need for the animal.
- Guest Responsibility : Guests who fail to comply with this policy may be denied access or asked to leave the premises without refund. Additional fees may be charged to cover any necessary cleaning or repairs due to the unauthorized presence of pets.
- Information and Communication : Guests are responsible for informing themselves of this policy prior to arrival. We are available to answer any questions or requests for clarification before or during your stay.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the comfort and safety of all our guests.
Liability
KOALA-SXM accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings in the rentals.
Disputes
Any dispute relating to the interpretation and execution of these terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by French law.
